Carry On Project
In the winter of 2001, Sydney Guerrette’s mother, a law student at the time, faced an unplanned pregnancy. She reluctantly entered an abortion clinic to terminate the pregnancy, but a woman working at the clinic told her she had other options and encouraged her to go home. Sydney’s mother did just that, but the road ahead was uncertain and the church she had been attending turned their back on her.
During a songwriting session on October 27, 2017, Sydney shared her story with Krissy Nordhoff and Matt Armstrong. That night, Krissy woke up from a dream and wrote a song called “Carry On.” This song speaks to the mother’s heart, contemplating how Mary must have felt at the realization of being an unwed mother. But, it’s also a call for the Church to surround these women entering pregnancy care centers, and their unborn children, with the love of Jesus Christ. Krissy shared the song with Sydney and they began to dream: What if we could get this song in the hands of women, like Sydney’s mother, to encourage them to not terminate their pregnancies?
That dream took one step toward becoming a reality in March 2018 when Sydney recorded Carry On with producer, David Leonard, at The Creak Studio in Franklin, Tennessee. Working together with the non-profit organization GiveLife, our goal is to give this song away for FREE to every woman who enters a pregnancy care center in the United States starting November 16th, but we urgently need your help!. Would you PRAYERFULLY consider being a part of this ministry? All donations will go to the creation of resources for pregnancy crisis centers. Thank you so much for partnering with us in making a difference in the lives of so many women and children.
